Day 1: Arrival-Siem Reap (/L/D)
Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport. On arrival your local English speaking guide will meet you for the transfer to check in your hotel. Today, we visit to Angkor Silk Farm. Our guides will give you more details on the mulberry trees, silkworm farming, cocoon unwinding, preparation of the silk threads, ikat technique (tie-dyeing of the threads) and silk weaving, the Khmer Ceramics Centre located on the road to the temples, this ceramics centre is dedicated to reviving the Khmer tradition of pottery, which was an intricate art during the time of Angkor and Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecole where visitors can observe students learning traditional carving and finishing techniques till dinner with Apsara Dance Show at local restaurant and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
After breakfast, proceed to Angkor Thom Area (Angkor Thom Temple South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Phimean Akas Temple, Elephants Terrace & Leper King Terrace, Royal Palace, Woman and Man Pond). Proceed to visit Ta-Prom Temple. After lunch, continue our journey to Angkor Wat Temple – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th – 13th century till its beautiful sunset.
Day 3: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit the Floating Village of Chong Khneas. Chong Khneas is the name of famous floating village at the edge of the lake. It locates at Southern part of Siem Reap town about 15 Km, and takes only 30 minutes by vehicles to the boat dock where there are always boats waiting for visitors. You will explore the different of Khmer, Muslim and Vietnamese floating households and the floating markets, fisheries, clinics, schools, basketball course, pigsty and other boatloads of tourists and the Cambodian Cultural Village where is designed to provide tourists with an excellent insight into the life and culture of the Cambodians; their traditions and practices, etc. and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap-Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we’ll board a public a/c bus to Phnom Penh (Approximately5-6hours). On arrival, our guide will pick you up and transfer to have your lunch before check in your hotel. Late afternoon, the Wat Phnom is on the only ‘hill’ in town. According to legend, the first pagoda on this site was erected in 1373 to house four statues of Buddha deposited here by the waters of the Mekong River and discovered by Penh, the former King Norodom Sihanouk statue and the Independence Monument or Vimean Ekareach – as it is referred to in Khmer, is a majestic structure that dominates Phnom Penh city centre. Independence Monument was primarily erected to mark the liberation of the country from the French who ruled Cambodia for almost a century from 1863 to 1953 till dinner at local restaurant. Day 5: Phnom Penh (/L/D)
After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles and the National Museum of Cambodia houses one of the world’s greatest collections of Khmer cultural material including sculpture, ceramics and ethnographic objects from the prehistoric, pre-Angkorian, Angkorian and post-Angkorian periods. Afternoon, visit to the Notorious Tuol Sleng Museum, In 1975 Tuol Svay Prey High School was taken over by Pol Pot’s security forces and turned into a prison known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) and the Central Market (Phsar Thmei) in Phnom Penh is one of those busy bazaars that are always filled with effervescent crowd from one end to the other. The Central Market (Phsar Thmei) of Phnom Penh stocks everything right from food items to clothes, silverworks and jewelries till dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 6: Phnom Penh-Departure (B//)
After breakfast, it’s free on your own leisure till transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for your departure (driver only). End of services.
